The Oprah issue I was referring to was from January 2007. If
anyone has a chance to read the article in there named, "Why is it so damn hard to change?" it is excellent. It
really explains the chemistry that takes place in our brains when we give in to our addictions, whether it be gambling, drugs,
alcohol, spending money, etc. Great read and very informative.
Wishing you a great day!

Back from vacation!Hi,
I am so excited to see the great response this site has been getting.
I am just so thrilled to be a part of getting the word out about this incredibly life changing program. I am just getting
back from a lengthy vacation and finding it so hard to get back into "real life." While on vacation, however, I did
read a fascinating article in Oprah magazine about the addicts brain that confirmed everything this program is about; that
there is an imbalance in addicts brains, whether that addiction be food, smoking, drugs, alcohol, sex, chocolate gambling.
As soon as we unpack I will post what issue it was in case anyone would like to read it.
The other exciting thing I read was in Prevention magazine's June
issue where they had a article on healing herbs and one of those herbs is the Kudzu. It went on to discuss
how it is now being recognized as a great anti-craving herb for problem drinkers. Confirmed what I already knew!!!
As for my drinking on vacation I moderated very well. I
forgot my hypnosis CDs but they seemed to have had a cumulative effect on me or something, because I slept great the whole
time and was not focusing on alcohol; something I would have been doing a year ago. I remembered most of my supplements
and they helped as well.
Wishing any of you reading this peace and happiness on this journey.
Hugs,
Rebecca
